The BWR-04 / BWR-06 Type I Transformer Winding Temperature Controller is designed for monitoring, indicating and controlling winding temperature of oil-immersed transformers. Based on the additional temperature rise principle, the product reflects transformer winding temperature by combining top oil temperature measurement and transformer load current compensation.
When the transformer is under low load or no-load operation, the instrument mainly indicates the top oil temperature of the transformer. When the transformer operates under load, the controller receives the load current signal from the transformer current transformer and generates additional temperature rise through the built-in heating element, so that the indication can reflect winding temperature changes.
This series can provide 4-20mA remote signal output, and can also be configured with dual 4-20mA output, Pt100 output or combined signal output according to different model requirements. It is suitable for connection with monitoring systems, secondary instruments or automation control systems.
The BWR-04 / BWR-06 Type I Series is widely used for temperature indication, alarm control, cooling fan control, trip protection and remote temperature monitoring of power transformers, oil-immersed transformers, substations and power distribution systems.

The controller provides pointer-type indication of transformer winding temperature, helping operators check transformer operating status on site.
The controller can generate additional temperature rise according to transformer load current, making the indication closer to actual winding temperature conditions.
According to different model configurations, the product can provide 4-20mA, dual 4-20mA, Pt100 or combined signal output for remote monitoring systems, secondary instruments or automation control systems.
When the transformer winding temperature reaches the preset value, the controller can output an alarm signal.
The controller can start or stop the cooling fan according to the preset temperature point.
When the temperature exceeds the safety limit, the controller can provide a protection output signal for transformer safety control.
With 4, 5 or 6 adjustable switch groups, the product can meet multi-stage alarm, fan control and protection requirements.
