The BWY2-804 / BWY2-806 Transformer Oil Surface Temperature Controller Type 2 is a temperature control instrument used for oil-immersed transformer oil temperature detection, local indication, alarm control, cooling system control and remote signal transmission. Equipped with a BL-FC high-temperature composite sensor, it is suitable for transformer oil temperature acquisition and signal transmission in long-term power equipment operation environments.

This series provides reliable outdoor protection performance and can operate stably under complex climate conditions. The instrument can be equipped with 4 to 6 adjustable control switches for transformer cooling system control, over-temperature alarm, signal output and protection linkage. According to the selected model, it can output Pt100 resistance signals or 4-20mA standard current signals for connection with PLC, DCS, SCADA, computer monitoring systems and secondary instruments.

Working Principle

The BWY2 series transformer oil surface temperature controller is mainly composed of an elastic element, capillary tube, temperature sensing bulb, temperature transmitter and temperature indication mechanism. The sealed system formed by the elastic element, capillary tube and sensing bulb is filled with temperature-sensitive medium.

When the measured temperature changes, the volume of the temperature-sensitive medium inside the sensing bulb changes accordingly. This change is transmitted to the elastic element inside the instrument through the capillary tube, causing the pointer to rotate and indicate the measured temperature. At the same time, the instrument can drive microswitches to output switch control signals for starting or stopping the transformer cooling system, helping control transformer temperature rise.

With the BL-FC high-temperature composite sensor, the product can realize oil temperature acquisition, sensing signal transmission and remote temperature monitoring. Through Pt100 signal or 4-20mA standard signal, temperature data can be transmitted to the background monitoring system for unattended operation management and automation control.
